About Ms. Hartke
Ms. Hartke has enjoyed teaching children for almost thirty years. She holds a BS in
Music Education from Towson State University. She was a recipient of the Nicholas Memorial String Scholarship. Ms. Hartke earned her Early Childhood certification at Point Park University. She holds an MS in Special Education from Walden University. She was a recipient of the Riley Scholars Scholarship. Ms. Hartke has extensive experience teaching music in the school setting as well as private lessons. She received additional certifications in the Suzuki string method and Music Together. Ms. Hartke has several years of experience teaching grade level curriculum for grades preschool through fourth grade. Her diverse experience is in both urban and rural settings, including Maryland, Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Philadelphia), New Jersey, Texas, and the US Virgin Islands. Her hobbies include reading, art, music, and scuba diving. Ms. Hartke resides in New Jersey with her three sons, and dog, Bear.
